Robert W. Johnson, PhD, MBA, founded Purdue University's Credit Research Center over 20 years ago. It is the only academic institution in the United States devoted to educating the public on all aspects of consumer credit. Dr. Johnson has been a Presidential appointee to the National Commission on Consumer Finance, an economist for the Federal Reserve Board, an expert witness for the United States Senate, a trustee for the National Foundation for Consumer Credit, and a consultant to the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Home Loan Bank Board, General Accounting Office, and United States Chamber of Commerce.
